Azotobacter Vinelandii
Azotobacter Vinelandii, a gram-negative, aerobic, free-living bacterium, is renowned for its ability to fix atmospheric nitrogen under aerobic conditions. Thriving in neutral to slightly alkaline soil environments, it is naturally found in various parts of the world. Apart from nitrogen fixation, it is also capable of promoting plant growth by producing a range of plant growth-regulating substances.

Recommended
Time to ApplyFrequency of Application
In-Furrow
500 g/10,000 sqm or ha
Apply directly into the seed furrow at planting. Ensure soil is moist and well-drained for best survival.
At the time of planting
Once per season; repeat only if soil disturbance occurs
Soil Treatment
500 g/10,000 sqm or ha
Broadcast evenly and incorporate lightly with tillage or irrigate in. Ensure soil has adequate organic matter.
Pre-planting or early vegetative stage
Once per season; boost with repeat at 30 days if needed
Seed Treatment
100 g/10,000 sqm or ha (of seeds)
Coat seeds using a sugar or gum arabic adhesive. Air-dry under shade.
Just before planting. Ensure seeds are used within 24 hours of coating.
Once per season
