Azotobacter Vinelandii
Obligate aerobe that fixes N₂ via Mo/V/Fe nitrogenases protected by high-rate respiration; forms cysts for strong shelf/field stability. Also produces EPS, organic acids (P solubilization), phytohormones, siderophores, and antifungal metabolites.
To be used within 4 weeks. Available in 250 g and 10 L jugs.
Azotobacter Vinelandii, a gram-negative, aerobic, free-living bacterium, is renowned for its ability to fix atmospheric nitrogen under aerobic conditions. Thriving in neutral to slightly alkaline soil environments, it is naturally found in various parts of the world. Apart from nitrogen fixation, it is also capable of promoting plant growth by producing a range of plant growth-regulating substances.
